Protecting our people, the community, and environment.
Dedicated to Fertilizer Safety and Security
The Canadian fertilizer industry is proud of its strong record of safely producing, transporting, storing, and applying our products. Our world-class industry developed and executed Codes of Practice provide best practices for safe and secure storage and handling of Anhydrous Ammonia, Ammonium Nitrate and Calcium Ammonium Nitrate.
Compliance with the Codes of Practice is a condition of membership with Fertilizer Canada, demonstrating the industry’s dedication to safety. These practices protect workers, safeguard communities, and preserve the environment. Educational programming ensures workers across the supply chain have the tools they need to protect themselves and their communities.
