Fertilizer Canada supports a consistent, industry-wide approach through standardized Codes of Practice that guide the safe handling, storage, and transportation of fertilizer products across their entire lifecycle. These mandatory, industry-led standards reflect a shared commitment among members to manage risk, protect people and communities, and ensure fertilizers like ammonium nitrate and anhydrous ammonia are used safely and effectively to support Canadian agriculture.
